Greening Mission Caravan Head To Luwero

On Monday 22nd October 2018, the Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green in partnership with Riham embarked on movement dubbed “Greening Mission”- A Luwero District Green Caravan Partnership Concept, as part of their constant initiative to ensure Uganda remains the Pearl of Africa with a green vegetation and continue to protect the environment.

This was joined by the Green ambassadors from the different schools within Kampala like Kisule P/S, St. Francis P/S Kampala Academy, Trinity Schools, among others. They went out with the target to plant 1000 fruit trees as well as establishing green zones in Schools and also donated litter bins to the schools.

“As part of this initiative, we are going to reserve 100 fruit to be planted in solidarity with our 21 Youth friends “Our Children’s Trust” in the United States who have sued the Government for not committing to the Green initiative. This is to let them know we are with them in this fight”, said Mr.Masembe Joseph, the CEO-Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green.

The Cravan started their mission from the Riham Head office in Kawempe as they visited schools along their way like St.Catherine P/S, St.Kizito Naluvule P/S, Ndejje Junior School, Kasaala Girls & Kasaala Boys P/S, Kasaala COU P/S, this also District and religious leaders from the region.
