The 1st Children’s Climate Change March on the African continent

The children of Uganda under their umbrella organisation Little Hands Go Green over the weekend organised the 1st Children’s Climate Change March on the African continent. Thousands of Children thronged the KCCA CITY HALL grounds dressed in green and carrying placards demanding climate justice.
The 2km walk was flagged off by the Executive Director of the National Forestry Authority Mr. Tom okello Obong , the Director Education Services of Kampala and the CEO and Founder of Little Hands Go Green Joseph Masembe.

The march was organised by Little Hands Go Green in partnership with My Kid is A Superstar, Riham, Lato Milk, NFA and NEMA. Little Hands Go Green is a civil society organisation that teaches children to nurture and take care if their environment and with branches across east Africa in Rwanda and kenya.
There was a mini Climate change concert by the children after the march.
