Love for Environment lights up Kololo as Children from all over throng the Green Festival 2017

After spending some time planting trees in their schools and keeping it Green, children from various schools took to Kololo Airstrip in company of their parents to mark the Annual Green Festival.

The festival which is an annual celebration of Ugandan children’s efforts in conserving their environment took place last weekend at Kololo Airstrip and it will always remain a day to remember for the superstar kids.

Thousands of kids thronged the fun filled event and they were entertained to the maximum. Kids were treated to free Ugandan made chocolate, milkman yoghurt and riham sodas.

A number of entertainers including Levixone the Award Winning Gospel artiste and a host of young talented children, Daxx Kartel, Golola Moses, and dance groups among others headlined the event.

Children also enjoyed a variety of activities like bouncing castles, face painting, dance competition and zoo.

Security was tight since this time round it was headed by Dixon Okello, Uganda’s finest events security guru.

Over 10,000 free tree seedlings were given out to children with the essence of conserving the environment.

Joseph Masembe, the Chief Executive Officer of Little Hands Go Green thanked NEMA ,KCCA,  Milkman UWEC ,Capital FM, NBS TV and Harris International the makers of Riham products for their unending support towards the event.
