Moments From The International Children Climate Change Conference 2017

On 22nd April was Earth day, My Kid is A superstar and Uganda’s Little hands Go Green organized the 4th annual International Children Climate Change Conference at Kampala International School Uganda (KISU).

Children put their voices to the Climate Change Debate and voiced their thoughts on the Climate Change situation and the way forward for the nation and the world at large.

Participating children were from the local schools, Internationals schools based in Uganda, School of the deaf as well as 15 child delegation from Kigali Rwanda from 2 schools i.e. Mother Mary School and Little bears Montessori

Kigali delegates were received with great honor and under tight security of the counter terrorism Unit (CT) who made guard during the stay

Delegates participated in the symposiums and dialogue along with the other 30 schools

The even was graced by the State Minister for environment, Deputy director National management authority, National water and sewerage cooperation, Kampala Capital city Authority Deputy director education,Q sourcing Managing director the corporate company that funded the trip of the Green Ambassador from Kigali.

Delegates were treated to a dinner by Rwanda’s ambassador to Uganda at Silver spring’s Hotel where he officiated the hand over of certificate of participation to the children .

Final day was an early one, Delegates went shopping, play area at freedom city and at the Zoo with CEO My Kid is a superstar and little hand go green before they left back home
