We have always had calls to take the Green Festival all around the country to give all the children of Uganda and their families the chance to enjoy environmental conservation education in the superstar fun and engaging way.
logistically it has always been impossible however to the greater glory of God, we were recently blessed with the opportunity to make this happen.
James Tumusiime of the prestigious Igongo Hotel and Cultural Centre has made all the arrangements to host the inaugural Green Festival Western Edition at Igongo on the 26th of December 2014. This is arguably the first step in ensuring that the greening efforts of children all over Uganda are recognized and rewarded.
So Western Uganda can expect to see have the whole works associated with the Green Festival in Mbarara on the 26th of December 2014.
From bouncing castles to Face painting, modeling to dancing, swimming, karokee, camel rides, movies , green aerobics, singing, acrobatics , tree planting and conservation fun, family bonding and ofcourse being Christmas : the whole Christmas funfare.
So mark the date and tell a friend to tell a friend. Every child will also get a free fruit tree seedling.
